This week I'm wrapping things up at HSBC and then I'm off for a short camping trip down to Oregon before I start my new job !

Yep. New job. Next week I will be joining the Internet Marketing Centre as an in-house Senior Web Designer. They've been in the web marketing business for over 10 years specializing in helping people start a business online. I'm pretty eager to get my hands dirty with seo, lead generation, web page optimization... all that good stuff. I've read a lot on the topic but really, you don't get to learn this stuff without practicing it so I'm excited to offer my skills in web design and development and grow my skills in web marketing.

I think I'll also enjoy the work environment - young team, 80 people, wii, foossball and a brand new building !

This also means that I will be taking a break from the freelance world for a while so I can focus on my new job. I've also just invested a good chunk of money to write my PMP exam in November so I will need a lot of time to study for that

A lot of exciting challenges for me to look forward to!
